Monday-Invasive Species Removal
Monday:
8 am: Breakfast open until 9:30, and pack picnic lunch.
10 am: Take buses to the Sonoran Desert Red Hills Visitors center. From there, in small groups of 4-5 students and one adult, scout out areas containing an abundance of buffelgrass.
12 pm: Once a location is found, begin using tools, such as shovels, to dig up the bufflegrass. Place discarded buffelgrass into large plastic bags.
1 pm: Take a break and eat picnic lunch packed earlier.
2 pm: Resume removing buffelgrass.
3 pm: Take buses to the Catalina and Ryan transfer station to dispose bags of buffelgrass.
4:30 pm: Return to the hotel.

Tuesday-Invasive Species Prevention
Tuesday:
10 am: Take buses to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Visit the invasive species exhibit to learn more about bufflegrass that grows in the Sonoran desert.
1 pm: Have lunch at the Ironwood Terraces, a self-serve grill located inside of the museum.
2:30 pm: Return to the bufflegrass site and plant native plants in order to prevent the regrowth of the bufflegrass and encourage biodiversity.
6:30 pm: Return to the hotel.
Go to Wednesday and Thursday
